The New Moon in Gemini on June 14th/15th 2026, encourages us to ground our most delusional yet inspired dreams into reality by harnessing the power of our discernment.

When I sat in meditation with this New Moon, here’s what I felt:

First — a deep, rooted, supported steadiness. Like being held by the Earth herself. And then, it felt like I was being tenderly lifted upwards. The feeling of someone placing their hands at my waist from behind and gently, lovingly, lifting me up — the way someone might help you reach something just beyond your fingertips. Not doing it for you, but just giving you that extra inch of height to reach what you already knew was there.

And that definitely feels like the energy of this Gemini New (super)Moon.

This lunation reminds us that there ground beneath our wildest dreams, and that the Universe is supporting us often with these gentle lifts that says: you can reach it. It's not as far as you think.

This New Moon in Gemini is here to help us take our most inspired, most visionary, and maybe slightly delusional dreams — and plant them with full conviction into the fertile soil of our actual, real, physical lives. Not to shrink them or make them realistic, but to give them roots deep enough that they can actually grow.

This new Moon’s message of “ground your delulu” refers to this lunation’s ability to help us first discern the dreams that truly align with our authentic desires, and then encourages our reality to meet our dreams and our dreams to meet our reality.

And never one to be too subtle, this Gemini new Moon also arrives as a Supermoon — meaning the Moon is at her closest point to the Earth, amplifying everything she touches and planting our seeds in exceptionally fertile ground.

The Energy of Gemini: Mutable Air & the Power of the Mind

As the mutable Air sign of the zodiac, Gemini is the energy of curiosity, communication, duality and the extraordinary, generative power of the human mind.

Gemini is symbolized by the Twins, implying that Gemini energy has the rare ability to view opposing thoughts, contradictory impulses, and wildly different perspectives not as problems to be resolved but as the natural, endlessly interesting landscape of a genuinely alive mind. Gemini is the sign that understands that truth is rarely singular, and that most things are more nuanced than they first appear.

In their light, Gemini are brilliant, curious, playful, wildly creative and magnetically alive. Gemini asks questions that nobody else thought to ask. He stays open — genuinely, enthusiastically open — to the possibility that what he thought he knew might be incomplete, and that there might be many more interesting ways of perceiving life.

Yet in shadow, Gemini energy can become scattered, inconsistent, and overwhelmed by their own mental activity. Gemini energy is known to talk themselves into something and then talk themselves straight back out of it. Gemini can overthink until the original impulse or idea is buried under seventeen layers of analysis.

The shadow of Gemini is that inner critic who talks you out of your own dreams, always has a counter-argument, finds the flaws, and reminds you of the ten reasons why it probably won't work.

And this is exactly where this New Moon becomes so potent. Because Gemini's gift — when used consciously — is discernment. The ability to get curious, get honest, and ask: which voice is actually speaking right now? Is this my intuition — the quiet, consistent, body-felt knowing? Or is this fear and ego, masking as wisdom?

This Gemini New Moon helps us discern the voice of intuition from the voice of fear — especially when it comes to our dreams. She helps us identify which dreams are truly soul-led, rooted in genuine desire and inner knowing, and which are ego-led, driven by what we think we should want or fear we won't achieve. That discernment is the compass for everything we plant under this lunation.

Because for those soul-led dreams, a certain amount of “delusion” is actually quite supportive in helping us create that which has not yet been created.

Ground Your Delulu: Vision Meets Soil

Delulu — in case you don’t know — is the Gen Z shorthand for delusional, and is used affectionately to describe the beautiful, slightly irrational, completely necessary act of believing in a dream before the evidence has caught up. Because, I believe that a little delusion is genuinely required for anything extraordinary to come into being.

But vision without roots doesn't grow in a way that we can feel.

A dream that floats perpetually in the realm of thoughts, never finding the practical foothold of a real next step, stays just that - a dream.

And this is where this New Moon becomes so specific in her invitation. Come back to the Earth to ground your dreams into reality. Because Gemini, for all their brilliance, lives very much in the mind. And our dreams need more than mental energy — they need what every living thing needs: real ground, real roots, real embodied contact with the living world.

When we step outside, put our feet on the Earth, sit with a plant or under a tree — the mental chatter quiets. And in that quiet, we can feel much more clearly which dreams are truly ours and what they actually need from us next.

Every seed that becomes a tree was once just a tiny, improbable, delusional little thing in the ground — with no visible evidence of what it was going to become. But it grew anyway. Because that was always what it was here to do.

We are those seeds. Our dreams are what we are all growing toward. And truthfully, the cycles, rhythms, beauty and balance of Nature, are all right here, always ready to hold and support you.

The Astrology: Uranus vibes & Venus in Leo

As I mentioned briefly earlier, this new Moon is a Supermoon - meaning the Moon is at her closest approach to Earth. While she doesn’t brighten up the sky in her dark and new moon phase like she does when she’s a Super Full Moon, her proximity to Earth does help to amplify her rippling influence on us and our intentions.

During this new Moon, the Sun and Moon in Gemini are meeting at the end of a recent conjunction between the Sun and Uranus (also in Gemini). Uranus is the great disrupter and awakener, the cosmic innovator, the one who arrives to shake up what has gotten too comfortable and static. His energy infuses this entire lunation with a restless, electric, genuinely excited craving for something new. New ideas and approaches and ways of thinking about what is possible.

Uranus in Gemini says: the old thought processes and methods of communication are outdated and unproductive, so let’s have some fun making some new ones!

And then there is Venus, moving into Leo on June 13th — the day before this New Moon. In Leo, Venus (the planet of beauty and love and values and the feminine) is bold, radiant, creative and unapologetically herself. She is the energy of putting yourself and your desires fully in the spotlight — not out of egotism or vanity, but out of authentic and joyful self-expression. Her arrival right alongside this Gemini New Moon adds a beautiful layer of confidence and magnetism to everything we are planting.

Conclusion: Reach for What You Know is Yours

This Gemini New Moon is bold, supportive, alive and genuinely excited about what is possible.

And she is asking you — with all of that electric, curious, creative Gemini energy behind her — to get still enough to hear what your soul believes is possible for you. To feel the discernment between the desires your intuition guides you toward and the resistance your fear keeps generating. And to believe in yourself so unconditionally that you know you can and will persist with joy.

Your intuition already knows which dreams are ready. This new Moon invites and encourages you to plant those dreams here, in the real world, in your real body, with your feet on the ground and your heart and mind aligned on what you know is eventually possible.

Ground your delulu. Give your wildest, most intuition-led, most beautifully audacious dream a home in the real world — and watch what happens when vision finally roots into reality.

May this Gemini New Moon ground your most delusional yet inspired dreams into your thoughts, beliefs, words and actions.

with infinite love and lunar blessings,

Rachael
